Raspberry iced tea is a drink that I make while relaxing with my children and husband. This drink is very refreshing and light when taken. this is the perfect drink to fill our thirst during the summer like now. I personally add a little more ice to make it fresher but a little sugar, because I reduce consuming too much sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 Black Tea Bags (like Lipton)
  • 12 oz Raspberries
  • 8 cups Water divided



Step to do

  1. First you must bring 4 cups water to a boil.
  2. and then remove from heat.
  3. Add tea bags and allow to steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Add 4 cups water to medium pan.
  5. Add sugar and raspberries and bring to a boil over high.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and squish raspberries while continuing to cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and strain through cheesecloth or strainer, discarding berry pieces.
  8. Combine both in a large pitcher and serve over ice.
